Riccione – San Giovanni in Marignano – Saludecio – Montegridolfo – Mondaino – Morciano di Romagna
Leaving Riccione’s shoreline, the route winds into the rolling Valconca hills, along gravel tracks, panoramic ridges and fields scattered with fortified medieval villages. Constant climbs, fast descents and a few technical sections make this a medium-to-challenging ride, enriched by strong historical character: Saludecio and Montegridolfo, once strategic strongholds in the Malatesta–Montefeltro conflicts, still preserve walls and gateways untouched by time. Mondaino, with its unique circular Renaissance square, leads the way back through Morciano and San Clemente toward the lights of the coast.
